Chapter Benefits For
the NCRS member who wishes to do more on the local level, the Rocky Mountain
Chapter offers the following benefits to members: 1.
A yearly chapter judging meet. This meet is the starting point for NCRS
members who wish to get started in the certification process or who simply wish
to learn more about their cars and gain judging experience. While you do not
have to be a chapter member to participate, a team of members puts it on. 2.
A bi-monthly newsletter that keeps you informed not only of local
events, but also of regional and national events that members and officers have
attended. 3.
A group of over 80 NCRS members with considerable knowledge and
experience who are available to help other members. 4.
Local monthly meetings with judging seminars, technical sessions, and
speakers/presentations. 5.
Special trips, road tours, and a yearly holiday party in December. 6.
Free classified ads for Corvettes and Corvette parts in the newsletter. 7.
The opportunity to assist in the hosting of a regional or national NCRS
event. The Rocky Mountain Chapter has hosted both regional and national events.
We just hosted another regional event in conjunction with the vintage races at
Steamboat on Labor Day weekend of 1997. These events draw top quality NCRS
Corvettes and judges from all over the country. We welcome you to attend a meeting or event and see if you dont agree that chapter membership is an essential part of the NCRS experience. You do not need to own a Corvette to join the chapter, but you must be a member of the national NCRS. For more information, please contact our Membership chairman or, if he is unavailable, one of the other officers listed below.
